Patricia Habermann works as a counsellor/mentor with children, youth, adults, and families. She also facilitates groups and teaches college courses related to various helping disciplines.

Patricia aims to create a welcoming and safe space in which a trusting relationship can be built. She uses a person-centered, strength based, and holistic approach while exploring the stories of where her clients come from.

Patricia's experience in a trauma informed care was supported by her training in Focusing-Oriented Therapy and Trauma Informed Practice, which compliments her Applied Counselling specialization in Addiction studies.

These approaches have given Patricia the skills to work with and understand the impacts of historical and intergenerational trauma.

She holds professional membership with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
